The Stanford Micro piano shell measures 59 inches side to side with a 54 inch inset for a slimline keyboard with back plug-ins. Front to back the piano shell measures 41 inches. There is a large hole on the bottom for ease of carry, as well as a convenient way to run cables. With the legs off, the piano shell weighs less than 45 pounds. This smaller version of the already popular portable shell also features a slimmer body. This makes it even easier to fit in the back of an SUV.
The Stanford Micro has recently gone away from the painted finish and adopted a laminate finish. A standard lacquer finish doesn't have the same durability. Laminates come in many assorted colors and styles depending on what your needs are. The finished look is sleek and elegant. You can get your piano shell in basic black or white at no extra charge. Other colors may cost a bit more depending on price to us and availability. With nearly a thousand possibilities in laminates, the sky is the limit in how you want your piano shell to look.
